The first thing I thought of when I saw this is "Reunion", an Alias episode from season three in which Sydney unhappily finds herself wearing a poncho.

"I'm gonna kill Marshall. This is the worst disguise yet!"

Lately I've been jonesing for some Alias, but haven't had the time to really sit down and watch a few eps, uninterrupted.

I'll be out town the next four days, house-sitting for my parents while they are on vacation. It'll be the perfect time to sit down and get my Alias on, since I won't have the usual daily chores and stuff I'd do at my house.

So, here's the thing -- I don't want to just pop in any season and start watching the eps in order. I'd rather pick and choose a few favorites. There are two eps on my "Must Watch" list, which are: S2, Ep 2, "Trust Me" (I love the soundtrack during that scene almost as much as Sydney's alias as the wealthy Italian traveler) and S3, Ep 8, "Breaking Point" (is there anything better than Jack as a computer technician, set to the soulful sounds of Marva Whitney?).

So, I ask all of you -- besides the two previously mentioned, which Alias eps should I watch? Tell me what I should view, and why (not because I need to be convinced, but because I'm curious about your reasons). Feel free to jump around, or go in order, or include something from all five seasons -- I have the box set, so I'll have it all with me.

Don't worry about overwhelming me -- if I don't have time for all of them this week, well, then I have my plans for the next rainy day all lined up. :)

I've had a rough day. It's excruciating to be here, at home, without Elphie. She was my constant companion and the apartment feels so vacant without her. We collected and put away most of her stuff -- I couldn't bear to see it. But now this place feels so much emptier, without her and without her favorite things.

I'd be dealing with this better if I'd had some time to prepare. It all happened so fast. I just can't believe she's gone. We only had 22 months with her, and while I take comfort in knowing those months were happy ones for her, it just wasn't enough time.

Our beloved dog, Elphie, became suddenly and gravely ill this evening and Hubby and I had to make the terrible but kind choice to put her down.

I am devastated. It happened so quickly, I had no time to even try to wrap my head around it. And now it's done, her life is over and we have to try to move on without our best friend.

There are no more words. Just sadness.

The Christmas ficlets have been fun, but I'm not going to have the time to write all seven of the prompts. Plans have changed, and it turns out I'll be heading home for Christmas earlier than I thought. I have much to do before I depart.
